Associate Investing Platform Developer

Position Overview

As an Associate Investing Platform Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of software systems supporting investment platforms. You will work closely with senior developers and investment professionals to implement new features, enhance existing functionalities, and ensure the reliability and performance of the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions for investment platforms.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Develop and integrate APIs, data feeds, and third-party services to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Assist in the analysis of user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new features and enhancements to improve user experience and platform functionality.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of software releases.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and internal stakeholders, troubleshooting issues and resolving technical challenges in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with IT and support teams to address system performance issues and ensure platform stability.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API documentation, and user guides.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and provide training to end-users on new features and functionalities.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in investment platform development.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the evolution of development practices within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills with proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
  • Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Understanding of database concepts and experience working with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and investment management principles is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
